Kolaczki

Kolaczki are envelope-like cookies, made with a cream cheese short crust and jam.

Ingredients:

  • 225 g butter, room temperature
  • 180 g cream cheese, room temperature
  • 320 g plain flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 300 g jam of your choice
  • icing sugar for dusting

Method:

Beat together butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Add the flour and mix well. Wrap and chill for at least 1 hour.

Heat oven to 180° C. Roll out dough ( 5 mm ) and cut into 6 cm squares. Place ½ tsp jam on center of each square. Overlap opposite corners of dough to the center over filling. Bake 15 – 20 minutes. Cool and dust with icing sugar. Enjoy!!!

  • 225 g masla, temperatura pokojowa
  • 180 g ser Philadelphia, temperatura pokojowa
  • 320 g maka
  • 1 lyzeczka ekstraktu z wanili
  • 2 lyzki cukru
  • 300 g dzem, dowolny
  • cukier puder do posypania

Wykonanie:

Maslo utrzec z serem, cukrem i wanilia do uzyskania puszystej masy. Dodac make i wymieszac ( zmiksowac ). Zawinac i chlodzic w lodowce minimalnie godzine.

Piekarnik nagrzac na 180 ° C. Ciasto rozwalkowujemy na grubosc 5 mm i wykrawamy kwadraty 6 x 6 cm. Na srodek kazdego kwadratu kladziemy ½ lyzeczki dzemu i zlepiamy dwa przeciwlegle rogi. Pieczemy 15 – 20 minut. Ostudzic i posypac cukrem pudrem. Smacznego!!!!!

Brummie Bacon Cakes

This Brummie Bacon Cakes recipe is from an old W. I. ( Woman’s Insitute ) cookbook.

Ingredients:

  • 50 g streaky bacon, grilled & chopped
  • 225 g self rising flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 25 g cold butter, cubed
  • 75 g cheddar, grated
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • milk for glazing

Method: 

Preheat oven to 200 ° C.

Brummie Bacon Cakes

In a bowl mix flour and salt. Add butter then rub into fine breadcrumbs. Add grilled bacon and half of the cheese. Mix.

In another bowl mix milk, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Add the dry ingredients to make soft dough. Roll out 18 cm circle. Cut into 8 wedges. Brush with milk and sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Bake for 30 minutes. Serve hot. Enjoy!!!!!

Skladniki:

  • 50 g boczku
  • 225 g maki samorosnacej
  • ½ lyzeczki soli
  • 25 g zimnego masla, pokrojone w kostke
  • 75 g sera cheddar,( lub inny) starty
  • 150 ml mleka
  • 1 lyzka ketchupu
  • 1 lyzka sosu Worcestershire
  • mleko do glazury

Wykonanie:

Nagrzac piekarnik do 200 ° C.

Plastry boczku grillowac ( lub usmazyc ), pokroic na male kawalki. W misce wymieszac make z sola. Dodac maslo i rozetrzec z maka. Dodac boczek i polowe sera.

W drugiej misce wymieszac mleko, ketchup i sos Worcestershire. Dodac make i wyrobic ciasto. Rozwalkowac kolo o srednicy 18 cm.

Wysmarowac mlekiem i pokroic na 8 kawalkow. Posypac pozostalym serem. Piec 30 minut. Jesc po upieczeniu. Smaczngo!!!!!!

Italian Stuffed Chicken Breasts

This chicken recipe is easy and impressive: it’s perfect for a dinner party.

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 4 Hard Mozzarella slices, chopped
  • 4 artichoke hearts ( from can ), chopped
  • 4 baby plum tomatoes, chopped
  • 10-15 green olives, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Method:

In a bowl mix together artichoke, cheese, tomatoes, olives, garlic and thyme. Season with pepper.

Cut a deep slit along one side of each chicken breast. Rub the chicken breast with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Stuff each chicken breast with ¼ of the filling.

Preheat the oven to 190° C.

Heat large frying pan. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, 3 minutes each side. Move the chicken breasts to the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Slice and serve. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Piersi z Kurczaka Faszerowane Po Wlosku

Skladniki:

  • 4 piersi z kurczaka
  • 2 lyzki oliwy
  • sol & pieprz
  • 4 plastry twardego sera mozzarella (lub inny), pokrojony
  • 4 serca karczochow ( z puszki), pokrojone
  • 4 pomidory koktajlowe, pokrojone
  • 10 – 15 zielonych oliwek, pokrojone
  • 2 zabki czosnku, pokrojone
  • 1 lyzeczka suszonego tymianku

W misce wymieszaj razem karczochy, ser, pomidory, oliwki, czosnek i tymianek. Przypraw pieprzem.

Kazda piers naciac z boku tak aby powstala kieszonka. Piersi wysmarowac oliwa i natrzec sola i pieprzem. ¼ nadzienia wlozyc do srodka, lekko docisnac.

Nagrzac piekarnik do 190° C.

Rozgrzej duza patelke i smaz piers z kazdej strony 3 minuty az bedzie miala zlocisty kolor. Wstaw piersi do piekarnika i piecz 30 minut. Smacznego!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
