Goat Cheese Mushroom and Onion Bites

A perfect appetizer for any party. Easy and delicious goat cheese mushroom and onion bites.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 150 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • salt & pepper
  • 180 g goat cheese
  • puff pastry
  • 1 egg

Method:

Heat 1 tbsp of oil and butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms and fry about 5 minutes. Set aside.Heat remaining butter and oil and fry sliced onion about 5 minutes. Ad thyme and sugar and fry 20 minutes over low heat. Stir from time to time. Add balsamic vinegar. Mix and take from the heat. Add the mushrooms, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix well.

Preheat the oven to 200° C.

Cut the pastry into 5 cm squares. Brush with egg. Place 1 slice of cheese on each square. Top with mushroom and onion mixture. Bake for 20 minutes. Enjoy!!!!!

Ciasto Francuskie z Kozim Serem, Pieczarkami i Cebula

Skladniki:

  • 4 lyzki masla
  • 2 lyzki oleju
  • 150 g pieczarek, pokrojone w plastry
  • 1 cebula, pokrojona w plastry
  • ½ lyzeczki tymianku
  • 1 lyzka cukru
  • 2 lyzki octu balsamicznego
  • ¼ lyzeczki czosnku w proszku
  • sol & pieprz
  • 180 g sera koziego
  • ciasto francuskie
  • 1 jajko

Wykonanie:

Na patelni rozgrzac 1 lyzke masla i oleju. Dodac pieczarki i smazyc okolo 5 minut. Odstawic na pozniej. Rozgrzac pozostale maslo i olej. Dodac cebule i smazyc okolo 5 minut. Dodac tymianek i cukier, wymieszac i smazyc na malym ogniu okolo 20 minut. Mieszac od czasu do czasu. Dodac ocet balsamiczny. Wymieszac i sciagnac z ognia. Dodac pieczarki, doprawic sola, pieprzem i czosnkiem w proszku. Wymieszac.

Piekarnik nagrzac do 200° C.

Ciasto francuskie pokroic na kwadraty 5 cm. Posmarowc jajkiem. Na kazdy kwadrat polozyc plaster sera a na gore pieczarki z cebula. Piec okolo 20 minut. Smacznego!!!!

Pastrami and Goat Cheese Pinwheels

I do not like goat cheese but in this combination is AMAZING. Try this easy recipe for pastrami and goat cheese pinwheels.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack ready rolled puff pastry
  • 8 pastrami slices ( or anything you like )
  • 150 g soft goat cheese
  • 180 g cubed Basque cheese ( or anything you like )
  • 50 g wild rocket
  • basil leaves
  • 1 egg yolk

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.

Unroll the pastry. Spread goat cheese over it. Arrange the pastrami evenly on top then wild rocket, basil and scatter the cubed cheese over. Starting at one of the short ends, roll the pastry up as tightly as possible. Take a very sharp knife and ( try to ) cut the roll into equal slices, laying them flat on non-stick baking trays. Brush each pinwheel lightly with egg yolk. Bake 15 – 20 minutes until puffed and golden. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zwijane Ciasto Francuskie z Pastrami i Serem Kozim

Skladniki:

  • 1 opakowanie ciasta francuskiego
  • 8 plastrow pastrami ( lub co lubisz )
  • 150 g miekkiego sera koziego
  • 180 g sera Basque, pokrojony w kostke ( lub inny dostepny )
  • 50 g rukoli
  • kilka lisci bazyli
  • 1 zoltko

Wykonanie:

Rozgrzac piekarnik do 180 ° C.

Rozkladamy ciasto francuskie i smarujemy je kozim serem. Ukladamy pastrami, rukole, liscie bazyli i posypujemy pokrojonym serem. Zwijamy ciasto jak rolade. Kroimy w plastry i ukladamy na blaszce na plasko. Kazdy plaster posmarowac zoltkiem. Pieczemy 15 – 20 minut az urosna i sie zarumienia. Smacznego!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cranberry And Camembert Puffs

These little cranberry and Camembert puffs are ideal for a crowd.

This recipe is adapted from  Tesco magazine.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small red onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp red wine
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 60 g cranberries
  • 350 g puff pastry
  • 250 g Camembert, sliced
  • thyme leaves to serve

Method

Preheat oven to 200° C.

In a small sauce pan heat the olive oil and gently cook onion until soft. Add balsamic vinegar, red wine, cranberries and sugar and cook until jammy, about 10 minutes. Set aside.

Unroll the pastry sheet on a baking tray and cut into squares ( about 3.5/4 cm). Bake about 10 minutes until risen then top each square with slice of Camembert and cranberries sauce. Put back to oven until the cheese melts. Serve with thyme on top. Enjoy!!!!!!

You can save time by using ready cranberry sauce from shop.

Skladniki

  • 1 lyzka oliwy
  • 1 mala czerwona cebula, drobno pokrojona
  • 1 lyzka octu balsamicznego
  • 3 lyzki czerwonego wina
  • 5 lyzek cukru
  • 60 g zurawiny
  • 350 g ciasta francuskiego
  • 250 g sera Camembert, pokrojony
  • liscie tymianku do dekoracji

Metoda

Rozgrzej piekarnik do 200° C.

W malym garnku rozgrzej oliwe i smaz cebule az bedzie miekka. Dodaj ocet balsamiczny, wino, zurawine i cukier i gotuj na malym ogniu az bedzie mialo konsystencje dzemu, okolo 10 minut. Odstaw na pozniej.

Rozwin ciasto francuskie na blaszce do pieczenia i pokroj w kwadraty okolo 3.5 – 4 cm. Wstaw do piekarnika i piecz az urosna ok 10 minut. Na kazdy kwadrat poloz kawalek sera i dzem zurawinowy. Wstaw do piekarnika do momentu az ser zacznie sie topic. Przystroj liscmi tymianku. Smacznego!!!
